Sketchy Climbing...OVERNIGHT!
Rock-climbing is just one of those activities everyone must
try at one time in their lives. It’s a
sport you can quickly improve at while feeding your crave for adventure!
(Hamilton, 32) There is basic climbing
that anyone is capable of, but then there is this! This is some intense climbing. Not only does it take you a couple of days to
it will motivate me to do challenging things. I will have to train in order to
accomplish this adventure and it will make it to the top, but you have to set
up camp in the cliff. That is insane! By
keeping this adventure in mind teach my mind and body to work together. (Hamilton,
12) Dedication is key for this
experience!
Conquering Fears
Fish are my worst fear.
I’m not sure why, but they freak me out.
Sharks are giant fish which create a giant fear. What better way to face my fear than to be in
the cage while the sharks circle around.
Although this adventure seems terrifying, and would be terrifying, it is
something I truly want to do. I will be
brave and put myself in the ocean with the sharks.
Arch Swing Adventure
I absolutely LOVE seeing arches! Doesn’t matter what size or where their
located they are all amazing. This arch
is one of the bigger ones located in Moab, UT and it is called Corona
Arch. Some daredevil people take their
rock climbing gear with them on this hike and create a rope swing in the center
of the arch. “The sport turns Moab’s
unique collection of stone arches into death defying swing-sets.” (Healy) This
is super dangers, but oh so thrilling! One
of the first arch- swingers said “It feels like you’re cliff-diving, but you’re
looking down at solid rock formations instead.” (Healy) I have been to this
hike many times, and one day, with the right people, I will bring my rock
climbing gear and attempt the arch swing.
The hike of a Life Time
I’ve always been the type of girl who loves hiking and being
up high in order to see the world all around me. I have a neighbor who goes on humanitarian
trips to Peru every summer, and she explores something new while there. One year she climbed Mount Machu Piccho and
the day I saw her pictures and heard her tell her tail I instantly knew one day
I had to do the same. The trail is a
trail that isn’t for everyone. “The
trail is very steep and often follows the mountain edge with sheer drop offs”
(Peru Guide) If you are not afraid to experience life on the edge then this is
a great hike to take! The trail is
considered moderate to challenging, and will take about three hours round trip
to complete. (Peru Guide) Going here
would be a dream come true!
The Living Place

People always seem to create the most amazing homes to be
their dream homes. My dream home is
pretty simple. I want a small one story
cottage, but not just any cottage, a cottage in the middle of the mountains. I want to be surrounded by trees, flowers,
rocks, and the other beauties of nature.
If my home was next to a pond or a lake that is big enough to wakeboard
in then everything would be perfect. In
this home I would plan and prepare for my bigger adventures of life.
